One of the unexpected joys of my pregnancy has been collecting free Baby Registry Welcome Boxes. It felt like a game—sign up, qualify, redeem, and wait for a little reward to arrive. Each box feels like a small celebration, filled with baby samples and surprises, and opening them has been genuinely fun during this season of nesting.
So far, I’ve redeemed welcome boxes from Amazon, Target, Kohl’s, and Babylist. Each one is slightly different, and I’ve shared detailed unboxings for those already if you’re curious about what comes inside and whether they’re worth it.
This Macy’s Baby Registry Welcome Box, however took me the longest to redeem. I don’t shop at Macy’s very often, so meeting the $50 qualifying purchase requirement took a while. Unlike other registries where I naturally hit the minimum just by adding everyday baby essentials, this one required a bit more planning.
Eventually, when I was on the hunt for new pajamas, I found my opportunity. I made a $50 purchase at Macy’s that I actually needed and wanted—no filler items just to hit the minimum—and that unlocked the welcome box for me. It took longer than expected, but once I qualified, it felt especially satisfying to finally check this one off my list.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to get your Macys Baby Registry Welcome Box and what came in mine!
How to Receive Your Macys Baby Registry Box
1. Create a Macy’s Baby Registry
Go to Macy’s and create a Baby Registry online. Make sure you’re logged into your Macy’s account when you do this.
2. Add Items to Your Registry
Add items to your registry– there is no minimum number of items you need to add. You just need to hit the purchase criteria from the registry as noted below in Step 3.
3. Make a Qualifying Purchase of $50 or More
Spend $50 or more from your Macys baby registry. The items you purchased do not need to be baby items (I bought some pajamas).
3. Redeem Your Macy’s Registry Box
After competing your $50+ purchase, when you log into your Macys account you should see the Registry Box offer under “Offers & Promos” section and pay $6.50 for shipping & handling.

My Thoughts
Overall, I think Macy’s Baby Registry is worth making the effort in claiming. It should be pretty easy if you are a Macys shopper or are able to find something on Macys you need! The items included in this registry box is unique– they are not things you can find in the other boxes. My favorite item from the box so far has to be the Skip Hop Silicone Pacifier Holder (which retails for $10 on Amazon). I have it attached to my baby’s car seat handle so I will always have a pacifier on hand for car trips. It has definitely save me many time when the baby is having those fussy red light moments! Just this item alone makes up for the $6.50 shipping and handling fee you’ll need to pay to redeem the box!
